  • Advance Church is a non-denominational Christian ministry serving the DC Metropolitan area since 2004. Our purpose is to build a ministry of Godly leaders in every sphere of influence and every generation who know God, strengthen their families, and influence the marketplace.

    Our Story

    Since 2004, Advance has been serving the DC Metropolitan Area, at the charge of our lead pastor Bishop Bruce H. Clark and First Lady Stephanie Clark. From our beginnings in Downtown Silver Spring, to our union with DC City Church, read on to hear our story.

  • Meet Bishop Bruce H. Clark

    Bishop Bruce H. Clark founded Advance Church in 2004, when God called him to build a ministry of godly leaders.

     

    In addition to his ministry at Advance, Bishop Clark is a senior leadership advisor and management consultant, leveraging the principles of godly leadership and wise counsel to national and international leaders. He is also a professor at Howard University, having taught over 1000 students at Howard University.

     

    Bishop Clark is a Bishop with the Fellowship of International Churches. He is married to First Lady Stephanie Clark, and father to Myles, Paris, and Grant Clark.
